Working Units

The Centre for Cultural Heritage Presrvation (CCHP) has three main units:

• Rehabilitation Unit
• Public Awareness and Community Development Unit
• Research and Training Unit

Objectives:

• Improve the urban fabric and protect historic buildings from destruction
• Provide models to encourage initiatives for the implementation of individual restoration projects
• Contribute to socio-economic development of urban spaces
• Disseminate awareness of the value of cultural heritage and the importance of preserving it
• Create jobs opportunities at a time of severe unemployment
